Ohio Ranks 4th in the Nation for Human Trafficking

April 27, 2018

In a recent report from the Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, more than 300 people in the Ohio were victims of sex trafficking, with about 25 trafficked for hard labor, and another eight trafficked for both purposes.

But being ranked so high means Ohio is identifying survivors. We are finding victims. Who is susceptible to being a victim? Anyone. It doesn't matter your sex, race or geographic background.

Ohio is a major trafficking state because of all the major highways through the state, lots of strip clubs, lots of farm land, and high levels of drug abuse.

Report trafficking to the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-3737-888
